Developing Effective Leaders Teaching Modules

Introduction

The Developing Effective Leaders teaching modules are designed for Extension Educators and Specialists, Leadership Faculty, Community Leaders, and anyone with a desire to improve leadership in his or her community. Each of the modules is a multipurpose teaching aid that anyone with some teaching experience can use to lead a group in discovering the ability of good leadership practices to bring change where we live. They reflect current thought and trends in leadership from both academic and popular sources. The modules can be a valuable resource for anyone involved in community leadership.

Each module contains:

·         An Instructor’s Guide with instructions and a Module Outline to follow while teaching (PDF)

·         A Participant’s Packet with the content of the module and an Evaluation (PDF)

·         A PowerPoint presentation

The Leadership Modules were developed by Drs. Sue Williams and Renée Daugherty of the Leadership program of the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, Family and Consumer Sciences. With the help of Angela Hayes, Master’s Student in Technical Communication at Oklahoma State University, the modules were edited, revised, and formatted into an accessible and cohesive curriculum.
